Powered by four motors for the (speed regulated) film transport and sound mechanism as well as for the automatic film and exposure controls. The electromagnetic shutter release ensures an instantaneous start to filming and like all sound Nizo Super 8 cameras it's powered by a rubber belt driven drive to assure smooth quite operation.

Nevertheless, the camera is not larger or heavier than well equipped classical film camera. As a result of the particular arrangement of the handgrip and the built-in shoulder support it can be handled as comfortably as other Nizo cameras. And don't forget: by pressing the locking device the handgrip can be set horizontally and there are two different threads in the camera base for fixture to a tripod.
