Usage:

Nikon Close-up Attachment Lens is designed for use with any Nikkor lens having an attachment size of 52mm or with R8 Super-Zoom lens, to permit focusing at distances closer than the normal focusing distances of these prime lenses.

The attachment lens screws easily into the front of the prime lens and has no effect what ever on the automatic diaphragm control of the prime lens or operation of the TTL light meter.
